Numbers are a form of language, and writing is a system of symbols. Chinese characters are often written from top to bottom or from right to left. In the Yin-Shang period, the arrangement of oracle bone script was not yet standardized, and there were also examples of left-to-right writing. In this artwork, I have arranged characters from oracle bone script and bronze inscriptions into a sequence, with the rough texture of recycled paper pulp giving the lines a natural ink rhythm and a rough texture. The spaces between dots and lines present a casual and spontaneous style of writing.
